I am still smelling my daughter now & then. It is a fetish I developed since I gave birth to her about 21 months ago. She has a natural aroma that never fails to bewitch my soul as a mother. Forget about the 15kg baby still demanding for me to carry her! Forget about the mess she makes when she is having her meals. Forget about the cranky night wakes she gets now & then. Her aroma tells me...everything is going to be alright. =)
Just a bit of update, she is turning into toddler sooner than I thought! We just came back from a 10 days trip to downunder visiting Uncle Pete & Aunt Jo...pleasantly surprised I survived the trip without the nanny! It was one of the most tiring days of my life! But also the many moments of pure bliss I have with my baby. I know she is going to grow out of me sonner than expected. At the rate she is going, I know I better spend more time while she still thinks I am cool. Soon enough, like daddy said, Hailey would want her freedom and perhaps - boyfriends! Oh..oh! Major fear of a father.
For now, we just want to spend as much time as we can with her. Have a great weekend!
